A handball career could hardly be more impressive and rich in title wins: At 51, Martin Schwalb can look back on several German championships and national cup victories, European Cup triumphs, as well as Olympic silver and European Championship bronze with the national team as a handball player and coach.

Taking a look at the impressive Elbe view offices of the CS Business Center in Hamburg’s Hafencity at Kaiserkai 69 on the 6th floor with a sensational view of the Elbe, the Elbphilharmonie and the harbor fits in perfectly.

The Stuttgart native, who has personal awards such as Handballer of the Year, Coach of the Year and Top Scorer trophies, has had an outstanding career, most recently gilding the European club title crown as a coach in 2013. Schwalb brought the Champions League trophy to the Alster with HSV Handball.

CS Businesscenter shareholder Christian Schmidt now brought Schwalb to the Elbe, or more precisely to Hafencity, to present his Elbblick offices. Schwalb, who is currently a TV pundit after nearly a decade as a leader at HSV Handball as coach, sports director, general manager and president, chose the following words:

“After playing 18 holes on the golf course with Christian Schmidt over the weekend, my expectations were definitely high. After all, the CSBC founder had no other topic during the round of golf. His enthusiasm could hardly be kept in check. But now that I have completed a first quick round here and am standing on the balcony, I understand Mr. Schmidt’s superlative joy.
